The situation with Indigenous northern communities would be very well addressed with Hempcrete due to its excellent thermal properties. Our Ugandan project will pioneer 3D hempcrete printed round and oval-shaped (double-walled) low-cost homes that can be built in a few days. Wouldn't this technique be perfect for the North (limited construction season). I understand that there is a huge surplus of industrial hemp in the field and in storage in Alberta with Weed Pool members now....the Feds just might finance a project like this...and you don't need to make hemp blocks...just mix on-site and pour!

Great post @watercan72 Im going to share this to our FB page. Your absolutly correct, afforable housing is an issue and this checks all fo the boxes. Thank you for your contibution to the pool. Lets see if we can make this idea hunt. There is hurd out there that is not being utilised for sure.
